Next CS:GO Major to be Hosted by FACEIT in London

It was officially announced that the next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major tournament will take place at Wembley Arena in London and will be hosted by FACEIT.

The second CS:GO major of 2018 will be held between September 20th and September 23rd and feature a $1,0000,000 prize pool. Although the format of the event is still not announced, we can expect to see eight teams that earned the “legends” status at ELEAGUE Major 2018FaZe Clan, SK Gaming, Natus Vincere, Fnatic, Cloud9, mousesports, G2 Esports and Quantum Bellator Fire.

FACEIT is a company based in London, which well-known for its competitive gaming platform and Esports Championship Series CS:GO tournaments.

The previous Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major tournament was held by ELEAGUE on January 12-28 in Boston. In the grand finals Cloud9 outplayed FaZe Clan 2-1 to receive $500,000 in prize money.
